SINGL-END

Tucked away on Renfrew Street in Garnethill, my latest brunch discovery was Singl-end Café and Bakehouse, where I met up with one of the girls, Leena, for a bite to eat and gossip sesh - and spoiler: it was perfect for that! Being a popular brunch spot in Glasgow, Singl-end has two locations, Garnethill and Merchant City, offering home-cooked breakfast, brunch, and an amazing spread of cakes, all baked fresh in-house.

Their infamous cake table!

From the moment we stepped in, the décor caught our eyes. Think cosy lights, an open-plan kitchen and a vibe that was truly immaculate. Whether you are in the mood for some fruity granola, a full meaty breakfast, or something in between, Singl-end has you covered. And the drink selection? Absolutely impressive! From hot drinks to smoothies, soft drinks, and even wine or beer, theres something for everyone - boozy brunch, anyone?

Leena and I started with our drinks of choice. I went for an iced caramel latte, and Leena chose a chai latte. Both were unreal. For food, I ordered scrambled eggs on toasted sourdough with some streaky bacon and potato scones on the side, while Leena opted for 'The Everything' plate. Honestly, every bite exceeded our expectations! The sourdough bread deserves it's own special mention, it was so good I'd go back just for a loaf.

Something that I thought was lovely and made Singl-end quite special is that it's dog-friendly, with photo walls around the café featuring Polaroid pictures of all of the adorable pups that have visited, I thought that this was such a cute touch!

Whether you are catching up with friends, spending time with family or going on a casual date, Singl-end is a brunch spot you don't want to miss. The food, drinks and welcoming atmosphere make it a definite must-visit in Glasgow!!
